Recently, the case study titled "China Jushi's Industrial Investment Helps Industrial Upgrade in Egypt" was listed in the best poverty reduction case studies for the fourth call of the Global Solicitation on Best Poverty Reduction Practices. The best case studies were recognized at the 2023 International Seminar on Global Poverty Reduction Partnerships in Beijing.

Jushi started to invest in Egypt in 2012 to build a factory locally. At present, the company operates four advanced production lines of glass fiber, with an annual output totaling 340,000 tons. After more than a decade of growth, Jushi Egypt's total assets have increased fourfold, creating up to 2,000 jobs and contributing over 1.67 billion US dollars in foreign currency revenue. Jushi Egypt now has the largest fiberglass production base in the Middle East and North Africa, and the Jushi Egypt project boasts the largest investment, most advanced technology and equipment, and the highest construction speed among China’s investments in Egypt’s manufacturing sector. With the success of the Egyptian factory, Jushi has achieved the export of a complete set of sophisticated fiberglass production technology to overseas, and helped Egypt become the world's fourth largest producer and trader of glass fiber.

Initially launched in 2018, the Global Solicitation on Best Poverty Reduction Practices has attracted a large number of organizations and individuals worldwide, eliciting positive responses at home and abroad. The campaign aims to use case studies as models to spread and share successful poverty reduction practices in various countries.
